Undo does not work

Issue

You edit the text of an item then press enter. But you want to redo but nothing happens after pressing Ctrl + Z on the keyboard or redo button in Excel.

Cause

The reason is that Excel does not allow you to undo what Auto-Fit has changed in your worksheet. This is the nature of Excel when it does not allow undoing any programmatically change.

How to fix

We have a workaround solution. By turning off the Auto-Fit function when editing and applying it later after editing you can achieve the same result.

Here is how to do it:

1. From the FMEA Analysis ribbon tab, uncheck Auto-Fit to turn off the Auto-Fit function of FMEA Analysis.
   
2. Edit the items you want as normal (undo is working now).
3. Select the items that you want to apply Auto-Fit and press Fit Items. Items’ heights are adjusted to fit the content.
